The Central European Atlantic Route (RCEA) is a route made up of a set of roads crossing France from east to west.
The road is very busy and well- known to be more than twice as accident-prone as the same type of road.
It was decided to switch it to 2×2 concession dual carriageway.
For the production of road base courses, asphalt concretes and very thin asphalt concretes, the RW Elast® additive from Roadway Solutions was chosen for its performance and high flexibility of use, even at high production rates.
